Planning for autumn sowing, including water requirements, was discussed at Chris and Ashleigh Gamble's Fairview Farms at Bamawm, when they hosted local dairy farmers at the Kyabram Dairy Business Network meeting in February.

The discussion covered water requirements for different start up dates, water use efficiency, tonnes of dry matter/hectare, available water for each business,

planning for the current period as well as into next season and different purchase options.
