Photo Competition Entry Instructions and Terms & Conditions

1. Capture a photo that showcases irrigation, farming, agriculture or rural life (or your chosen competition theme).

2. Include the following information on the form below:

   • Your full name

   • Contact phone number

   • Property or town/location where the photo was taken

   • A brief title or description of the photograph

3. Tick the acknowledgement box confirming you have read and agree to the Competition Terms & Conditions at the bottom of this page.

4. Upload your photograph as a high-resolution JPEG or PNG file and select SUBMIT

5. Entries must be received by [insert closing date and time].

6. The winner will be notified by phone or email and announced in the Water Partners fortnightly newsletter and/or on our social media channels.

By entering the Water Partners Photo Competition, entrants agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Eligibility

• Entry is open to Water Partners customers and members aged 18 years or over.

• Employees of Water Partners and their immediate family members may enter but are not eligible to win unless otherwise stated.

2. How to Enter

• Entries must be submitted by emailing your photograph to Water Partners before the advertised closing date.

• Each entry must include the photographer's name, contact details and, where possible, a brief description of the photograph and where it was taken.

• Multiple entries are permitted unless otherwise specified.

3. Original Work

By submitting an entry, you confirm that:

• You are the original photographer and copyright owner of the image.

• The photograph is your own work and does not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights of any third party.

• You have obtained permission from any identifiable person featured in the photograph to submit the image and allow its use by Water Partners.

• The photograph has not been generated solely using artificial intelligence.

4. Copyright

• Copyright in all photographs remains with the photographer.

• By entering the competition, you grant Water Partners a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, publish, display and distribute your photograph for promotional, marketing and editorial purposes.

• This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Water Partners' fortnightly email newsletter

  • Social media channels

  • Website

  • Printed marketing material

  • Advertising and promotional publications

  • Presentations and displays relating to Water Partners.

• Water Partners may resize, crop or make minor edits to photographs where necessary for publication, provided the overall integrity of the image is maintained.

5. Photographer Acknowledgement

Where reasonably practicable, Water Partners will acknowledge the photographer by name whenever the photograph is published. Water Partners will not be liable if circumstances prevent credit from being displayed in every instance.

6. Judging

• Entries will be judged on creativity, originality, relevance and photographic quality.

• The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Prize

• The winning entrant will receive the advertised voucher prize.

• The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

• 8. Inappropriate Content

• Water Partners reserves the right to reject any entry that:

• is offensive, defamatory or inappropriate;

• contains unlawful or unsafe activity;

• infringes another person's intellectual property rights; or

• is otherwise considered unsuitable for publication.

9. Liability

Entrants agree to indemnify Water Partners against any claim arising from a breach of these Terms and Conditions, including any claim relating to copyright, privacy or intellectual property.

10. Privacy

Personal information collected as part of the competition will be used for administering the competition, contacting winners and acknowledging photographers. Water Partners will handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

11. Acceptance

Submission of a photograph constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

I have read and agree to the Water Partners Photo Competition Terms & Conditions. I confirm that I am the original photographer and give Water Partners permission to use my submitted photograph for promotional purposes while retaining my copyright. I understand that Water Partners will credit me as the photographer wherever reasonably practicable.
